Things are better.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and good thoughts. Things are better. There are still issues but this crisis has passed. For those ol you who may have wondered or worried, my mistake was neither immoral or illegal but it was still a whopper. It was so nice to be able to come here for your support especially since out side of my husband and a few people I needed to help fix my mistake, I've told no one . I've learn some really important things from what I did and how it played out and how I reacted, so all in all some good came out of it. I'm packing right now because hubby, kids and I are heading for a week in Jamaica tomorrow. Hugs to all. Love, fifimom |

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. Thanks to all of you. You and this place mean so much to me. I'm afraid I have to go into lurking mode for a while. Please continue to pray for me and my family and I will continue to do so for all of you as well. Love, Sheila |

Southland...Police Story
I was thinking the other day how the idea behind Southland reminds me of a show I used to watch when I was a kid named Police Story. Anyone else out here old enough to remember the show? If so what do you think? Is my memory way off? Is John Wells old enough to remember the show? I know I have better things to do with my time than to waste it on such thoughts but I really don't care. I want to think about Southland. I want to see Ben McKenzie on TV again. I want the show to be a hit. I want to see the character of Ben Sherman taking a shower to wash the day away! |

Fingers crossed for Izzy
This saturday my oldest will be singing her first truly adult song for an audience. She's to perform "On My Own" from Les Mis. She says she's not ready, that the song is too much for her. She want sing it for me so I don't if she is really unprepared or just nervous. The event is sold out, a lot of people she knows well will be there including my in-laws. I hope this goes well for Izzy. She wants to get more serious with her music and a good performance could really help with her confidence issues. |

Life is good but we all have our problems (just personal crap)
I've been married almost 19yrs. In all those years I've only seen my husband openly cry a couple of times, today was one of those times. Our oldest (she's 11yrs. old) is going through another of her crazy times. We are going back into therapy with her but we couldn't get an appointment until after the holidays. She began her day by slamming the TV remote control on the granite counter top, throwing her breakfast onto the floor, yelling as loud as she could for her dad to get away from her and that she hates him and for just a minute she put both of her hands around my throat and tried to choke me. When things settled down I found my 6 yrs.old daughter in her bedroom drawing a picture. She topped the picture with the words "Today this is Isabella" and beneath the title she had drawn her sister screaming "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you... Farther down the paper she wrote "Today this is me" and she had a picture of herself saying "I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm scared... The bottom of the sheet said "You get the point" When my husband came to check on my youngest and saw the picture...he didn't even make it back to the privacy of his home office. As I tried to distract my little one I heard his choked sobs in the foyer. |

Chuck
I finally got around to watching this weeks Chuck and this one wasn't disappointing to me. I loved the first season and had high hopes for season 2 but have been let down somewhat by the episodes so far. Chuck is the only non Disney Chanel (remember I have little ones) I currently watch and really want it to be good for at least a little while longer. |

Just a little tid bit from an Adam Brody interview. H: So even despite your busy schedule, you take time to volunteer with the Young Storytellers Program, which is dedicated to developing literacy, self-expression and self-esteem in elementary school children. What made you decide to get involved in this program?
AB: I have been involved with this in the past. This was something that Ben McKenzie, my co-star from The O.C., was pretty involved with, and I did it sort of on his behalf. I’ve been looking for a charity or at least waiting for something to grab me. I know that sounds kinda weird, but you have a lot of down time as an actor and I feel like I should be putting it towards a good cause, and not just monetary but actual physical presence. |

Angry with mother-in-law
I'm actually mad ,angry enough for tears right now. My mother-in-law just called me and ask me to return a book she allowed my daughter to" borrowed". It's an very old copy of "The Children's Shakespeare" . I know it's old because the hand signed inscription is Nov.1896. My daughter thought her grandmother had given it to her and she treasured it but now my mother-in-law wants it back. She called me to tell me she was trying to organize the thousands of old books she's collected and needs it. In other words her daughter is about to give birth to her first child (for this I'm very grateful,it's been a long hard road to pregnancy for her) and she wants it for her. My sister-in-law will receive many treasures from her mother for her child, in fact she already has. I thought this one was for my daughter. I know I'm being silly, I know my children don't mean as much but it still hurts. |

For Cheeky because girls just want to have fun.
I will always be a fan of Ben Mckenzie, even if he never works again, even if he goes bald and gets really fat. I will always love him because he led me here to this amazing place with some of the most wonderful people and Cheeky you are one of the best. Your stories and personal post have brought me so much joy. So, I wanted to try and give you something back. I wrote you a litte story but had it out on my desk and my mother picked it up and started to read it. I grabbed it from her, told her it wasn't for her to read and hid it from her. The only problem is I apparently hid it from myself to. Therefore I've decided to try my hand at "drabbles". Under the cut you will find 3 little pieces of crap, does having 3 make it add up to something decent or does having 3 just make it a bigger pile of shit? I'm not sure but here we go. |

I found it!
We were at the pool this afternoon and when I started packing up my beach bag I realized I had yet to search it. Finally, I found my ring in the zipper compartment of the bag. I so glad I found it! |
